Tax Code Section 26.18 Requirement

 

THE CITY OF HEDWIG VILLAGE ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

 

THE TAX RATE WILL EFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.64 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERTIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $1.84.

Hedwig Village offers a quiet place for you and your family to relax from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Our schools are located in the Spring Branch I.S.D. and have won several awards for excellence. Also, to maintain the security and peace of mind of our citizens, we have a Police Department which is fully trained and staffed and is operational all day, every day. Our citizens lives and property are also protected by the Village Fire Department, which is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
